Europe and Asia (Boat & Bus) Tour

Tour Overview

This full-day tour brings together the best of Istanbul’s continental contrast and waterfront character in a single, well-paced itinerary. You travel by coach and boat to explore both the European and Asian sides of the city, with sweeping views, cultural context, and landmark stops that show how Istanbul’s history and geography blend across continents.

Tour Itinerary

The tour departs in the mid-morning from the designated pier in Eminönü and begins with a Bosphorus cruise, passing waterfront palaces, historic mansions, and bridges that reflect Istanbul’s intercultural character. The route then continues on the Asian side with visits to key sites such as Beylerbeyi Palace, the former Ottoman summer residence, followed by Çamlıca Hill and Çamlıca Mosque for panoramic city views. The tour crosses back to the European side, stopping at additional viewpoints before heading to Pierre Loti Hill, where you can enjoy views over the Golden Horn, often with a cable car ride included. The day concludes in the early evening at the original departure area, having covered the city’s strongest contrasts in geography and heritage.
