This is a full-day tour that combines Istanbul’s most celebrated historic sites with a Bosphorus cruise to give you both the heart of the city and its waterfront story in one itinerary. You explore the Old City with a knowledgeable guide who brings centuries of history to life, then transition to a scenic Bosphorus cruise that connects what you’ve seen on land with the city’s geography between Europe and Asia.
The tour begins at Eminönü, where guests meet at the designated starting point. From here, the route first continues on land with a visit to Süleymaniye Mosque, offering views over the Golden Horn and the historical peninsula. The tour then proceeds to the Spice Bazaar, where there is time to explore the market and its surroundings.
After the land portion, guests board the boat for a Bosphorus cruise. The boat sails along the Bosphorus Strait, passing key waterfront landmarks including Dolmabahçe Palace and Ortaköy Mosque, while traveling between the European and Asian shores. The cruise follows a central Bosphorus route before turning back toward the Golden Horn.
Following the cruise, the tour continues with a visit to St. Stephen’s Church (Iron Church) along the Golden Horn. The final stop is the Balat neighborhood, known for its colorful historic houses and streets. The tour concludes in this area, with hotel transfer provided at the end of the program.
